In this one of a kind experience, participants use their own stethoscopes to hear and learn normal and abnormal breath sounds and how to properly use a quality tunable diaphragm stethoscopes and others. 

The experience begins with a brief introduction to the stethoscope itself with little known facts about how to use it to listen for various sounds. Then you will see where to listen for proper breath sound auscultation. Once you understand the how, where and what to listen for the ears on experience begins.

Power by high fidelity speakers designed for use with a stethoscope,  with actual patient breath sounds, participant’s will hear a description on the sound, hear the sound and understand what it means in the clinical context.  

Overall the student will leave with a better understanding of the  stethoscope, including it’s proper use and a vocabulary of sounds with proper identification and naming of the sounds.
